Winter White - The New Color of Incentive Trips!

Winter White

It's January and time for your big incentive trip that everyone has worked so hard for. Which tropical destination are you heading to this year? If your trips are becoming one big blur of beaches it may be time to consider something new - how about a Winter White Experience?

Some companies enjoy switching between tropical and mountain destinations every other year. Mountain destinations offer activities for skiers and non-skiers alike. Besides skiing and snowboarding, for those who are less into the x-treme sports, your guests can snowmobile, cross-country ski, site-see or shop at high-end boutiques.

Destinations such as Vail, Colorado , Whistler (home of the 2010 Winter Olympics) & Blackcomb , British Columbia , or Lake Tahoe , California , offer 4- to 5-star resorts and unique restaurants and venues for group events. Call SPG for information on tailor-made group incentive programs.

Packing with Panache

  • Luggage Lighten Up - airlines have cut back on their weight allowances (Women - choose 2 colors to mix & match throughout trip, this will cut down on luggage & shoes)
  • Roll - vs. fold (fewer wrinkles)
  • Nesting - Ex: socks inside shoes
  • Beat the System - If you think you are close to the weight limit pack a collapsible bag in one of your outer suitcase pockets
  • Plastic Wrap - Drycleaner bags reduce wrinkles (leave the hangers at home)
  • Tag It - Many bags look alike; tag your bag with something to distinguish it from the others
