Sportsmanship: Abuse of officials will not be tolerated and flagrant violations may result in team disqualification. Teams and individuals that are abusive, destructive, or in any other manner reflect negatively on the tournament will be disqualified at the discretion of the tournament director and may be prohibited from returning in the future.

The Men's Divisions will use NCAA rules with the following exceptions:
• Game Time: All games will be two 25 minute running halves. No clock stoppages. Sudden death will be played in the event of a tie. Half time is 5 minutes. Note: Teams will be assessed a delay of game penalty if not ready to begin play at the scheduled time.
• Penalty Time: Will be served time and one half. (30sec=45sec, 1 minute=1.5minutes) Penalty clock begins when the penalized player enters the penalty box and the officials resume play. Goalies must serve unsportsmanlike penalties. In-home can serve personal or technical penalties.
• Timeouts: Two one-minute time outs per half per team, one per team during sudden death. A timeout will not kill any penalty time. No timeouts in the last two minutes of the game. (Example: If a timeout is called with 2:15 remaining, the timeout ends at two minutes remaining.) Timeouts must be called with possession in the offensive zone (sideline to sideline) or during a dead ball.
• Clearing Times: Clearing times will not be used with the exception of 4 second Goalie counts to exit the crease.
• Tiebreaking: In the event of a tie for the final seeding, the following
rules will apply:
1. Head to head competition results, including top seeded teams head to head result.
2. record vs. common opponents
3. plus/minus on game scores for all games played
4. Coin toss (furthest team traveled gets the call)
• Goals and Fields: Accepted as is.
• Uniforms: Matching uniforms are waived, subject to the Tournament Director. Numbers must be on the front and back.
• Face-Offs: If any player commits a technical violation before or during a face-off, the ball shall be awarded to the other team and play shall be restarted immediately. The NCAA rule requiring the faceoff man to leave the field when a face-off violation occurs shall not be used.
• Sticks: Sticks must be legal per NCAA.
• Equipment Checks: At the discretion of the officials on the field. Coaches may request one stick check per game, but not in the last 2 minutes of each half.
Substitutions: All substitutions will be on the fly other than when a goal is scored or a served time penalty is assessed (No horns).
• Long Sticks: Maximum of 5 long sticks (52"-72") allowed on the field
at any time.
• Balls: Tournament has the responsibility of adequate supply. Each team is asked to maintain balls on their end line.

The Women's Division will use US Lacrosse rules with the following exceptions:
• Game Time: Games will consist of two 25 minute running time halves with a 5 minute intermission. Sudden death overtime will follow the completion of a tied game after a 3-minute break; sudden death periods will be 3 minutes of running time. Note: Teams will be assessed a delay of game penalty if not ready to begin play at the scheduled time; teams are responsible for being ready to play at the scheduled time for each game; games may be shortened at the discretion of the organizers to keep game times on schedule.
• Fields: The restraining line will be used.
• Tiebreaking: – See men’s rules above
• Substitutions: All substitutions will be on the fly.
• Equipment: Goggles are mandatory per the US Lacrosse Rules.
Note: The Tournament Director and Chief Official are available for any questions (clarifications, rulings, situations, problems, etc.) The Tournament Director reserves the right to add, delete, or modify the rules. Their decisions are final.
